Alruwad offers a comprehensive range of Mechanical Testing services, supported by a fully equipped in-house machine shop to ensure precise sample preparation. Test specimens are expertly prepared for both metallic and non-metallic materials to evaluate tensile, compression, impact, weldability, fatigue, and bend properties.

The Mechanical Testing Facility at Alruwad conducts tensile testing to determine the strength and mechanical characteristics of materials with high accuracy. Proof Stress is precisely measured using advanced electronic control systems and extensometers. Alruwad also provides specialized Elevated Temperature Tensile Testing, conducted in accordance with ASTM, BS, IS, DIN, NACE, or other client-specified standards. Testing temperatures range from 50°C up to 850°C and beyond, accommodating demanding high-temperature applications.

The Mechanical Testing department at Alruwad performs a wide range of impact tests, including Charpy and Izod testing, across temperatures ranging from 100°C down to -196°C. In addition, highly specialized pressure testing services are routinely carried out at Alruwad’s advanced laboratory facilities.

With superior technology, responsive versatility, and a strong commitment to quality, Alruwad ensures reliable results and fast turnaround times. The dedicated in-house machine shop enables all test specimens to be machined onsite. Skilled machinists specialize in low-stress grinding and precision machining of sub-size specimens to tight tolerances. The machine shop team also designs and fabricates custom fixtures, mounts specimens for metallographic examinations, and manufactures customized TOFD weld blocks to support NDT operations.
